Busy Week, Quick Card

Well, I've been gone from my home every night this week, but tonight I really wanted to make a card to say thank you to my hosts last night (delicious cornbread and vegetable soup!). So, I opened up my Card Sketches book and used the first one that was a similar shape. This is an itty-bitty (3 1/2 by 5) card and I think it turned out pretty cute. It didn't take too long, once I had tracked down all the supplies I needed. My mistake was using construction paper rather than cardstock as the base. Oops! It still stands up on it's own, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

    I like how your thingamajig on the brad matches the petals so well on the left. Totally ties the card together. And I think your description about you should not be "shopper, marathoner..," but "Marathon shopper." :)
